Tedmund J. Mara is Vice President – Regional Director (MA). He brings to the firm over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and specializes in the design and implementation of Personal Risk Management Programs for affluent individuals and families.
Ted joined the firm after serving as the Director of Business Development for Lake Street Advisors, a multi-family office, where his primary responsibility was developing new client relationships with a minimum net worth of $20,000,000.
Prior to Lake Street, he spent 8 years as Vice President and practice leader of the private client group for William Gallagher Associates in Boston, MA as well as an Account Executive for Marsh Private Client Services, a division of Marsh USA.
Ted works extensively with his client’s other trusted advisors, such as multifamily offices, attorneys, and accountants to provide a holistic experience within their overall financial plan.
He is an active member of the Boston Estate Planning Council as well as several industry-related associations. A 1992 graduate of Norwich University Military College of Vermont, Ted lives in Harvard, MA with his wife and three daughters.
